2) Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Yet another story of three friends but this time its a road trip in Spain, some claim this one to be the sequel to Dil Chahta hai & we are not complaining. We love ZNMD as much as we love Dil Chahta Hai. Senorita anybody?
3) Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani
We all adore how this story ended with Bunny & Naina deciding to give love a chance, this one is again a feel good movie which makes us want to travel with our friends. The movie was shot in Manali, Udaipur and Pahalgam (Kashmir) too. It also ran into a controversy because Kashmir tourism department was not happy as they portrayed Kashmir as Manali too. But are we complaining? Nope in-fact we love the idea of joining a travelling group on a trekking trip.
4) Game of Thrones

Ved (Ranbir Kapoor) is all of us who are stuck in corporate slavery while we want to pursue our dreams and it takes us through various locations including Ved's house in the hills to the beautiful landscapes of Corsica (France). Before Tamasha France meant the Eiffel tower n Paris but there is more to France than that.
P.S. Both Deepika & Ranbir were travelling solo through France, you get the drift here? Tell us again what's stopping you from going for a solo trip!

Rockstar isn't originally a movie focused on travel but well it takes you through Chandi Chowk and North campus in Delhi to beautiful Kashmir and eventually (Prague capital of Czech Republic) where rest of the story unfolds.
P.S. Ranbir's character lives in Nizammudin Dargah in Delhi which has been recently in news as corona-virus hot-spot in connection with Tablighi Jamat incidence.
Piku is an unlikely road trip from Delhi's Chitranjan Park all the way to Kolkata with some brilliant acting from seasoned actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan & Deepika Padukone.
Rani is belongs to a middle class family in Delhi who is dumped by her to be husband so what does she do? She goes on a solo trip which she calls her solo honeymoon. The story is about how she finds her true self while travelling alone dealing with different issues, makes new friend in Lisa Haydon, stays in a hostel and a lot more. Indeed a must watch for Kangna Ranaut's acting.
A girl is kidnapped from Delhi and taken to Himachal by her abductor but story takes a turn as she feels safer around the her kidnapper than being home. The road trip takes you through Kinnaur valley in Himachal covering heavenly places like Sangla, Rekong in Spiti Valley. Probably the best acting performance by Alia Bhatt!
14) The Trip (Season 2)
The story is about a four girlfriends going on a trip just that one of them eloped from her wedding. The destination is beautiful former French colony of Pondicherry, near capital of Tamil Nadu Chennai. 15) Jab We Met
We loved Geet in this one but well its a travel fest too! The journey starts from a railway station to Punjab via Ratlam ki galiyan and eventually Shimla & Manali. Don't miss the snow covered roads at Rohtang Pas.
An unlikely road trip with a dead body onboard across South India covering Cochin & Ooty sounds scary right? But its a feel good movie, must watch for Mithila Palkar & Irrfan Khan!
17) Dil Dhadakne Do
A family trip starts with a lot of differences but somehow ends up together by the end of it! Simple & Sweet movie, watch it to experience a cruise trip while being quarantined.
18) The Beach

But well we would still recommend this movie despite the negative reviews because this movie was phenomenal in exploration of Thailand's best beaches including Phi Phi and Koh Samui.
19) Eat Pray Love
This Julia Robert starrer movie was shot across Italy, India & finally Bali. Based on the best-selling novel by Elizabeth Gilbert titled: “Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman’s Search for Everything, depicts a successful woman travelling solo across the world after her divorce.
20) Laila Majnu
The lesser known love stroy based in Kashmir, it didn't get a lot of buzz at box office but the song "O Meri Laila" sung by Atif got really popular. Watch this movie for tender love story amidst the crisis in Kashmir (The heaven on Earth)
