Day 1: Welcome to Taiwan
Arrive at Taoyuan International Airport, complete the arrival formalities and meet your Wander Womaniya tour buddy and fellow travellers followed by train transport to the city and finally check into your hotel. Check in, relax and freshen up after your international journey.
In the evening, explore Ximending, Taipei's vibrant shopping and entertainment district. Walk through its colorful streets, visit the famous Rainbow Crossing, browse local shops and enjoy some delicious Taiwanese street food.

Day 2: Jiufen & Shifen Day Trip
Post breakfast, head out for a full-day excursion to Shifen and Jiufen. Begin at Shifen Waterfall before exploring Shifen Old Street, known for its traditional railway tracks, local food stalls and charming shops.

- Explore the atmospheric lanes of Jiufen Old Street
- Enjoy traditional teahouses, local foods, fun shopping and beautiful mountain views
- End the day at Raohe Street Night Market

Day 3: Taipei Sightseeing & Taipei to Chiayi
Post breakfast, head out to explore two of Taipei's most important cultural landmarks. Visit Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and, subject to timings, witness its impressive Changing of the Guard ceremony. Continue to Longshan Temple, one of Taipei's oldest and most significant temples.
Later, take the Taiwan High Speed Rail (HSR) to Chiayi. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 4: Alishan Forest Recreation Area
Start early for a day trip to the spectacular Alishan Forest Recreation Area, one of Taiwan's most famous mountain destinations. Travel into the mountains and spend the day exploring its beautiful forest trails, towering trees and scenic viewpoints.
Later, return to Chiayi and spend the evening exploring the local Chiayi night market, where you can sample Taiwanese street food and experience the city's lively evening atmosphere.

Day 5: Chiayi to Taichung & Fengchia Night Market
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Chiayi before checking out and taking the Taiwan High Speed Rail (HSR) to Taichung.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax.
In the evening, head to Fengchia Night Market, one of Taichung's largest and most popular night markets. Explore its lively streets filled with local snacks, fashion, shopping and plenty of Taiwanese street-food favorites.

Day 6: Sun Moon Lake Day Trip
Post breakfast, head out for an excursion to Sun Moon Lake, one of Taiwan's most scenic destinations. Surrounded by lush green mountains, the lake is known for its tranquil waters, beautiful viewpoints and picturesque landscapes.
Spend the day exploring the lake and its surroundings, enjoying scenic walks, photographs and local attractions before returning to Taichung in the evening.

Day 7: Taichung to Taipei Airport & Goodbye Taiwan
Post breakfast, check out and train transfers to Taipei Taoyuan Airport for your return flight to India.
