Day 1: K’etili iq’os tkveni mobrdzaneba Evrop’ashi (Welcome to Georgia)
We arrive at Tbilisi International Airport by evening and transfer to the hostel for check-in.
The hostel has a lively courtyard with bars and eateries.
We will go pub hopping (Club Entry tickets are chargeable wherever applicable)
Overnight stay at Tbilisi
Day 2: Tbilisi Old City
We will take the local train to reach the old town. Free time to explore Old Town, cable car, and free time for vintage/thrifting shopping & lunch.
We will take the cable car to go to Mother of Georgia and watch the sunset and head back to the hostel in the evening.
The hostel has a courtyard with bars and eateries. Evening is free to explore.
Overnight stay in Tbilisi
Day 3: Kakheti Day Trip
Today after an early breakfast we we will go to Kakheti to explore Bodbe Monastery and Sighnaghi. We will be stopping at a local Bakery where you are welcome to taste delicious Georgian bread and cheese. You can see how georgian bread is baked.
Bodbe Nunnery of St. Nino is located in Kakheti, 2 kilometers away from Sighnaghi. According to the legend, it is built on the burial place of Saint Nino. A saint for Georgians who converted their religion into Christianity. Georgian kings were paying great attention to the Bodbe Monastery. It has been repaired and restored many times.
Signagi is a town in Kakheti, 75 km east of Tbilisi. However, Georgia's smallest towns serve as a popular tourist destination due to their location at the heart of Georgia's wine-growing region, its picturesque landscapes, pastel houses with wooden fretwork balconies, and narrow cobblestone streets. The Great Wall of Georgia has stunning views for taking pictures, and the city is surrounded by it. In Sighnaghi, we will stop for lunch.
Optional Wine tasting session can also be done.
Overnight at Tbilisi
Day 4: Kazbegi and Gudauri
After an early breakfast, we head out to explore beautiful natural landscapes of Georgian Caucasus Mountains. We will cover the ancient Ananuri fortress which dates to the XVI-XVII centuries and is situated on the foreland by the Aragvi River. Ananuri was a castle and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century. The fortress was the scene of numerous battles. Ananuri is a perfect place for landscape photography, and there are stunning views of the fortress and Jinvali Reservoir.
Along with Jinvali Water Reservoir, We will also visit Russian Georgian Friendship Monument.
Overnight at Kazbegi (Shared dorms)
Day 5: Trinity Church Hike & Back to Tbilisi
Morning trail hike up to Gergeti Trinity Church followed by breakfast and scenic drive back to Tbilisi with a photo stop at the colossal Chronicles of Georgia.
Head back to Tbilisi city & check in at your hostel.
Evening is free, overnight at Tbilisi.
Day 6: End of the Trip & Goodbyes
Post breakfast, drop to Airport for flight back to India.
