Explore this world-renowned city in all its magnificence as we guide you where to go and what to do in Dubai with children.


Day 1:


Burj Khalifa

Standing at over 800 meters tall, Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world and talked about the world over. This gravity-defying skyscraper is an architectural masterpiece and sets the world record for the highest number of floors in existence (160 levels). Why not start your trip off on the 122nd floor and enjoy having breakfast in the sky with your family? The have a special menu just for kids to be able to delight in. The breathtaking views from Burj Khalifa are an experience you and your family won’t regret. You can book a tour of the observation decks or you can visit “At The Top” where you can look through a telescope to get a better view of the surrounding scenery or shop some of their souvenirs. Burj Khalifa breaks many records including having the highest restaurant in the world and the elevator with the longest travel distance.

Aquaventure Waterpark

Making it to the #1 spot on TripAdvisor, Aquaventure Waterpark definitely lives up to its reputation. This park has a lot to offer with features that will appeal to everyone in your family. The many attractions available range from fast and thrilling to slow and relaxing, you can take your pick depending on how you’re feeling. Aquaventure Waterpark offers 30 slides and attractions for you to explore and try out. The lazy river, Rapid River, takes about 45 minutes to complete 1 lap and is the longest one in Dubai! Surf’s Up Wave Rider gives you the opportunity to practice your surfing and body boarding skills. Or get on the Aquaconda where you’ll bend and twist around terrifying turns on this huge tube waterslide. Alternatively, you and your family can chill on the 500-meter beautiful private beach and get some sunshine. If you have toddlers and little ones with you then make your way to Spalsher’s Island. It’s a safe and private space with a play area dedicated just for them. For the animal lovers out there, Aquaventure Waterpark offers close encounters with dolphins, sea lions, sharks and stingrays.

Madinat Jumeirah

To close out your 1st day of the 2 days in Dubai, you’ll want to visit Madinat Jumeirah. It’s an Arabian bazaar like you’ve never seen before offering everything from spices, to jewelry and other trinkets from the area. Shop around the many stands and take a piece of the culture back with you. Ornate lanterns and carved wood are just some of the many unforgettable discoveries you’ll find inside the Madinat Jumeirah Souk. Have dinner at one of over 25 restaurants that offer a variety of international cuisines. Best of all you’ll be able to walk around and dine with the gorgeous views of Old Dubai.


Day 2:

Dubai Frame

The Dubai Frame is a 150-meter high and 93-meter wide frame constructed from reinforced concrete, steel and laminated glass. There is an elevator that takes you to the Sky deck, which travels 48 floors in 75 seconds, imagine that! You and your family will be in for quite a ride. As you gaze through the Dubai Frame, you’ll see Dubai’s past, present and future in an extremely unique way. You’ll pass through a swirl tunnel with audio and visual effects that show you the future of Dubai. In order to get a glimpse of Old Dubai, start from the mezzanine level and make your way into a multimedia exhibition charting the Emirati heritage. Use the Dubai Frame to outline the gorgeous panoramic views of the city and take unforgettable pictures with your loved ones.

LEGOLAND Parks Dubai

Continuing on with the 2 days in Dubai itinerary, we can’t leave off a trip to LEGOLAND. There’s a very good reason that children love LEGOs and really enjoy building with these inspiring blocks. Watch their curiosity and creativity come to life as they enter the park and experience the 40 different attractions and rides and the 15000 LEGO models that are waiting for them. The journey begins inside the Factory where your little ones will learn everything there is to know about LEGOs and you can buy souvenirs to commemorate your visit.. Once you enter the Miniland zone you’ll find 20 million LEGO bricks are used to recreate Dubai’s unmatched skyline and other landmarks from around the Middle East. LEGOLAND provides you and your kids an area called Build a City located on a 10-meter table where you can play and experiment with LEGOs. Inside the Imagination zone your little ones can enjoy exclusive LEGO movies in a 4D cinema.


Traditional Dhow Ride

The best way to close out your 2 days in Dubai is to unwind with a traditional dhow ride. Cruise down the Dubai Water Canal while aboard a traditional wooden boat (dhow) and get a taste of the rich culture and traditions that come with it. Take in the spectacular views as you relax and meander down along the water. You can choose from 30, 60 or 90 minute rides where you’ll be offered some beverages as part of the trip along with the sweet sounds of Arabic music. The dhow ride will also include guided commentary to explain the some of the landmarks and history around you.
