Vietnam with Halong-bay day cruise (17 - 23 May 2026)
Day-wise itinerary specially designed by Wander Womaniya for solo travellers
Day 1: Arrival in Ha-Noi
Arrive at Ha-Noi airport, complete the immigration formalities & meet your tour buddy along with the group, followed by check into your hotel. Have local cuisine PHO for dinner.
Overnight at Hanoi Hotel
Day 2: Ha-Long Bay Day Cruise
Start early in the morning for a scenic road journey of approximately 2.5 hours to Ha Long Bay. Upon arrival at the pier, complete cruise check-in and attend a short safety and itinerary briefing onboard.
Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on the cruise, offering a mix of Vietnamese and international cuisines, as the boat sails past iconic limestone formations such as Da Chong Islet, Con Vit Islet, and Gia Luan.
Disembark to explore Trung Trang Cave, the largest cave system in Cat Ba Island, known for its impressive stalactites and natural formations. Later, proceed to the Tra Bau area for swimming in calm, crystal-clear waters (weather permitting).
In the late afternoon, return to Hanoi by road.

Day 3: Danang | Hoi An
Post breakfast we check out and get transferred to Hanoi airport for your flight to Danang.
Evening we will go to explore Hoi An old city. It was recently awarded as the most popular tourist destination in the world. There is a river where you can go and take the lantern boat ride at sunset, explore the vibrant streets, try the egg coffee or smokey ice-cream, shop your heart out and what not! Have local Pho (Soupy rice noodles with Chicken / Beef / Veg options for dinner)
We can also arrange basket boat with coconut village tour at an additional cost of INR 2000 per person including transportation. (Let your tour buddy know if you would like to add the same)

Day 4: Golden Bridge & Bana Hills
Post breakfast we head towards Bana Hills. Full day to explore Bana Hills, which has the golden bridge, French town, arcade centre, numerous cafes & much more.
Evening we will visit Hoi An night market. At this market, you will be immersed in the bustling shopping space and get attracted to many dishes with the unique regional taste.
Overnight at Danang.
Day 5: Danang to Ho Chi Minh
Post breakfast we checkout and take a flight to Ho chi minh City also called as Saigon. Upon reaching we check in to our hotel and visit the Beer street to explore the nighlife.

Day 6: Cu chi Tunnels and Book Street
We start the day at 11 am post breakfast where we go to Cu chi tunnels to learn about the tunnels which were used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters. You can also fire an ak 47 here (optional & chargeable) followed by the book street.
A paradise for book lovers, Nguyen Van Binh or Book Street is a 100m stretch of book shops, kiosks, stalls and cafes that are perfect for a literary getaway. Shady trees line the street where many publishing houses seek to promote their books. Fiction, Non-Fiction, Travelogues, Children's literature - all genres can be found here. Some of the shops even sell postcards and second-hand books at throwaway prices.

Day 7 Goodbye Vietnam
Post breakfast, Drop to Airport for your flight to India.
