Day 1: Leh to Kargil (via Lamayuru)
Begin your journey from Leh and drive along the scenic Srinagar–Leh Highway.
En route highlights:
- Gurudwara Pathar Sahib
- Magnetic Hill
- Sangam Point – Confluence of Indus & Zanskar rivers
- Lamayuru Monastery – Famous for its moon-like terrain
Arrive in Kargil by evening and relax after a scenic drive.
Overnight stay at Kargil hotel
Day 2: Kargil to Drass & Back
A short yet meaningful excursion towards the border region.
Visit:
- Drass – Known as one of the coldest inhabited places in the world
- Kargil War Memorial – A tribute to Indian soldiers
Enjoy views of Tiger Hill and Tololing peaks before returning to Kargil.

Day 3: Kargil to Suru Valley (Panikhar / Rangdum)
Drive into the stunning Suru Valley, one of Ladakh’s most picturesque regions.
Highlights:
- Suru Valley
- Panoramic views of the Nun–Kun peaks
Choose your stay based on comfort vs. remoteness:
- Panikhar (comfortable stays)
- Rangdum (remote and raw Himalayan experience)
Overnight stay: Panikhar / Rangdum
Day 4: Rangdum to Padum (Zanskar)
Continue deeper into the Zanskar region, known for its isolation and dramatic landscapes.
En route:
- Rangdum Monastery
- High mountain passes and glacier views
Arrive in:
- Padum – the heart of Zanskar Valley
Overnight stay: Padum
Day 5: Padum to Kargil
Retrace your route back through the Zanskar valley to Kargil.
Enjoy the landscapes from a new perspective as you descend back toward Suru Valley.
Overnight stay: Kargil
Day 6: Kargil to Leh
Drive back to Leh via the Srinagar–Leh Highway.
Revisit the dramatic landscapes and conclude your journey in Heaven.
Trip ends with airport drop for afternoon flight
