    Day-wise itinerary specially designed by Wander womaniya for solo female travellers. 
     
    Day 1: Welcome to Assam
     
    Today we all meet at Guwahati airport and head to our city hotel for check-in. Rest till evening, and we meet and have dinner together. 
     
    Day 2: Guwahati to Shillong
     
    Have breakfast at the hotel & checkout as we start our Meghalaya journey. En route, we will visit the beautiful Umiam Lake. Check-in at your hotel and then move out to explore some quirky cafés, Mary Help of Christians Cathedral and the Police Bazaar on foot. Overnight at Shillong.
     
    Day 3: Dawki & Mawlynnong
     
    Early start today, we take packed breakfast and leave for Dawki. We have all seen the transparent river of Dawki on Instagram & Pinterest, now is the time to tick it off your bucket list.  We will also visit Indo - Bangladesh border and finally visit Mawlynnong which is considered to be the cleanest village in entire Asia. Overnight at Shillong.
     
    Day 4: Cherrapunjee & Local Sightseeing
     
    An easy day in comparison to others, we check out post having breakfast and head to one of the wettest parts of India, "Cherrapunjee". We will visit  Mawsmai Cave, 7 sister waterfalls view point & Eco-park today before we end the day.
     
    Day 5: Waterfall hopping in Cherrapunji
     
    Life in Meghalaya is almost like hibernating in the monsoon, and we go around the place with only natural beauty for company. The waterfalls which we cover today –   NohKaLikai, Wei Saw dong, Lyngksiar Falls & Dainthelin falls. This will be a wet and beautiful day. 
     
    Day 6: Living roots "Double Decker" bridge of Cherrapunjee
     
    Post breakfast, check-out & proceed to visit one of the most amazing sights you would ever come across in the living roots double-decker bridge. You would see many suspension bridges on this challenging trek (Approx, 3500 stairs).  But well, this effort will be very rewarding. Wear good shoes and comfortable clothes, do not forget to carry some ready-to-eat snacks and water bottles. 
     
    Day 7: Laitlum Canyon & Guwahati 
     
    Post breakfast, we will head to Laitlum Canyon, en route to Guwahati. Drop at Guwahati Airport

      The temperatures will range from 12 Degree Celsius to 30 Degree Celsius with chilly nights, with decent amount of rainfall.

      We generally use properties which are upscale 3-star or 4-star category depending upon the trip.

      The properties are Hygienic, Comfortable, Clean , Located strategically to serve the itinerary keeping in mind the requirements for Women travellers.

      We generally operate small groups which has approx 5 - 15 members.

      You can join solo, and we will pair you with another solo female traveller if you book a double sharing room.

    • Transportation

      Local Transportation is usually done via Tempo Travellers or Private Mini Buses

      In some cases, we might also SUV / Public Volvo (Shared with travelers outside the group / Cars / Multi-utility vehicles, etc as per logistical requirements.

      Please be informed we operate affordable trips hence transportation used is basic. If you are looking for luxury / really comfortable transportation you are requested to check with us before booking the trip. 

      There is no preferential seat arrangement given to anyone, everyone is equal.

    • Important Information

       NOTE: Normal Check-in and Check-out time is 03:00 PM and 12:00 noon respectively in hotels. Early check-in / Late Checkout is available at an extra cost.

       

      NOTE: Airport transfer is at fixed time (depending on the majority of arrival and departure time of the group) - Any early or late transfer will be charged extra.
