    • Visa

As of latest update on February 15, 2024, Indian citizens do not require a visa to enter Kenya. Instead, they can obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) online before their trip. This convenient process eliminates the need for visiting an embassy or consulate and allows for a quicker and easier entry into Kenya.

Here's what you need to know about the Kenya eTA for Indian citizens:

      Who needs an eTA?

      • All Indian passport holders traveling to Kenya for tourism, business, or medical purposes require an eTA.
      • Children under 16 years old are exempt from the eTA requirement if traveling with a visa-holding parent or guardian.

How to apply for an eTA:

      • Visit the official Kenya e-Visa website: https://evisa.go.ke
      • Create an account and fill out the online application form.
      • Pay the eTA fee using a Visa, MasterCard, or other debit/credit card.
      • The processing time is usually 3-5 business days. Once approved, you will receive your eTA electronically via email.

      Requirements for applying:

      • A valid Indian passport with at least 6 months validity remaining after your arrival in Kenya.
      • A return or onward flight ticket.
      • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking, etc.).
      • Yellow fever vaccination certificate (if required).

      Validity and fees:

      • The Kenya eTA is valid for a single entry and allows a stay of up to 90 days in Kenya.
      • The eTA fee is USD 50 for Indian citizens.

      Additional notes:

      • You must print out your eTA and present it to immigration officials upon arrival in Kenya.
      • It is recommended to apply for your eTA at least 10 business days before your travel date.
      • For the latest information and any updates, always refer to the official Kenya e-Visa website.

We reccomend to apply atleast 15 days prior to arrival
