Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Izmir

Arrive at Istanbul airport & catch your onward flight to Izmir. Overnight at a hotel in Izmir.

Day 2: Ephesus & Transfer to Denizli

Post Breakfast at the hotel, explore the best-preserved marble ruins of the ancient capital of Roman Asia, with its 25,000 seats great theatre. Ephesus is the second largest ancient city in the world! A city where over 200,000 people lived over 3000 years ago. (Entry to Ephesus is included, guide charges extra)

 

After Ephesus, we head to Denizli via private minibus or a luxury public bus where we stay overnight.

Day 3: Pamukkale

Have a lazy breakfast & check out from the hotel, drop your luggage at the hotel reception and head to Pamukkale. From Denizli - Pamukkale is a roughly 25-minute ride. See the beautiful natural travertine terraces of Pamukkale, formed over centuries by flowing mineral water.

Explore the ancient ruins of Hierapolis, a Roman resort city built on the natural hot springs (Cleopatra Swimming pool is not included in the trip and is payable extra if you choose to swim)

Overnight bus to Goreme / Cappadocia. (This will be a long day as we are taking a long bus journey from Denizli to Cappadocia, but trust us that it will all be worth travel to this end of Turkey)

Day 4: Goreme – Cappadocia

We arrive at Goreme bus station in the morning after a tiring long overnight journey (in a luxury recliner bus ), from here we transfer to the cave city of Cappadocia. We arrive at our hotel (Team Wander Womaniya will arrange for early check-in) meanwhile we shall have breakfast in Cappadocia. Check-in at our hotel, rest & freshen up until lunchtime after which we head out for the tour of Cappadocia. We will visit the Rose valley to experience the famous location where numerous movies were shot because of the unique texture and rock formation followed by the underground city Kaymakli (or Ozkonak) where early Christians lived in fear and faith.

The evening is free to explore Cappadocia yourself (You can choose to opt for a dervish show or a Turkish night at an extra cost)

Day 5: Hot Air Balloon - Istanbul

Today we wake up super early despite the cool weather to experience hot air balloons flying above the city or if you have chosen to be in a hot air balloon yourself; feel free to brag about it!! Come back to the hotel and have breakfast & leave for Istanbul. Take a domestic flight back to Istanbul city. Rest of the day free to explore Istanbul city (You have the option of a Hot air Baloon ride – not included in the package, we recommend to pre-book your Hot Air Balloon activity online or through your travel buddy before reaching Cappadocia)

Day 6: Istanbul

Post breakfast, start your day with a guided tour to  The Topkapı Palace, or the Seraglio, which is a large museum in Istanbul, Turkey. In the 15th century, it served as the main residence and administrative headquarters of the Ottoman sultans.  The next stop is the beautiful blue mosque, you would be required to dress up as per the Islamic law and tradition (Islamic dress can be picked up at the mosque on a complimentary basis - might not be available due to Pandemic so kindly dress accordingly).

 

Then we visit The Hippodrome of Constantinople (the social centre of Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine Empire). We continue to do a Bosphorus cruise to explore both the Asian & European sides of Istanbul and we end our day at Taksim square (Dinner at your own cost) Taksim square is one of the most lively places to be in Istanbul and also to catch a drink or two. Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Istanbul.

Meals Included: Breakfast & Local doner kebab roll (Lunch) (Must have when in Istanbul) 

Day 7: End of Tour

After breakfast, you will be dropped at Istanbul Airport for your flight back home.
