Russia Women's Trip

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Moscow airport meet Wander Womaniya tour buddy and the whole gang of women travellers. Transfer to the hotel, Check-in to your room, and get accustomed to the weather, the new country. The rest of the day is free & the nightlife in Moscow is worth exploring. (Check with your tour buddy and fellow ladies who all are interested to check out the nightlife.) Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Moscow

Day 2: Magnificent palaces, medieval fortresses, and golden domes are the heart & soul of Moscow city. We shall cover Moscow's touristy places today with an English-speaking tour guide. In 4 hours you will cover the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Novodevichy Convent/out, Sparrow hills (Moscow’s roof, overlooking the whole central district), Moscow’s State University/out, Victory Park, The highest Stella in Russia, Moscow Kremlin Wall, The State Duma/out, Bolshoi Theatre/out, Red square, Saint Basil's Cathedral/out, Spasskaya Tower (Moscow’s BigBen), The Kremlin Old Clock “Kuranty”, Lenin's Mausoleum, Nikolskaya Street, Alexander Garden, The Grave of the Unknown Soldier and The Eternal Flame, Trinity and Kutafya towers of the Kremlin. Overnight at Moscow hotel.

Day 3: Moscow is famous for being a city of contrasts. Everything there can co-exist in harmony – commercial centres and forests, museums and parks, skyscrapers and ancient churches! Izmailovo is an exceptional destination within Moscow, where time stopped more than 300 years ago! Although the outer districts have modernized, Izmailovo remains faithful to the old way of Russian life and architecture that existed a long time ago in the middle age. We will visit Izmailovo cultural complex. Inside the fairytale-style  Izmailovo Kremlin, six museums—including the Museum of Vodka and the Museum of Bread—pay testament to Moscow’s cultural heritage will be covered. The entire historical tour will take roughly 3 hours and post that we will have shopping time at the famous flea market.  Overnight at Moscow hotel.

Day 4: Wake up at ease today,  Post Breakfast check out & get dropped to Leningradsky railway station to experience the super-fast bullet train. A roughly 4-hour train journey by Bullet train will take us to Moskovsky station (St. Petersberg). Pick up from the station and check in at your hotel in St. Petersberg. Even though this part of Russia is not as famous for the over-the-top clubs, the nightlife in St. Petrsberg has its own charm. Should you want to explore the nightlife, speak to your tour buddy for recommendations and assistance with transportation. Overnight St. Petersberg Hotel

Day 5: Post breakfast starts the city tour. We will cover Palace square, Alexander's column, Winter palace, Former General staff building, Nevsky prospect, Admiralty, Senate square, Bronze horseman, Isaac Cathedral, Isaac square, the Neva river embankments, Palace bridge, Peter and Paul fortress, Spit of Vasilievsky Island, Rostral columns, Spilled blood church, Field of Mars, Engineers (Michaylovsky) castle, Fontanka river, St. Nicolas Naval Cathedral, Mariinsky Theatre, Yusupov palace, Moika river, Anichkov bridge, Kazan cathedral, Arts square, Russian museum, Stroganov palace, Zinger house, Yeliseev shop, Architect Rossi’s Street, Academy of arts, The sphynx, Cruiser Aurora. The Saint Petersburg city tour takes place by car or minivan and lasts around 3 hours. Overnight St. Petersberg Hotel

Day 6: The Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg ranks among the most famous museums in the world. The whole complex of Winter Palace, Small Hermitage, Old Hermitage, New Hermitage, and the Hermitage Theatre is known as the State Hermitage. Tour this magnificent and lavish setting with a private, 3-hour tour. Starting with 225 paintings purchased in 1764 by Catherine the Great, the museum collection now comprises more than 3 million objects and works of art. Raphael and Leonardo's "Madonna", Titian's "St. Sebastian", and Rembrandt's "Return of the Prodigal Son", as well as "The Golden Peacock" by James Cox and "Crouching Boy" by Michelangelo are just a few of the superb works of Western European art in the Hermitage. After you have been given a comprehensive overview by your guide, you will be able to remain in the Hermitage, admiring the vast array of art, for the remainder of the day.
