Kashmir Trip for Women with Aharbal Waterfall

Day 1: Arrival & Doodhpatri

The group meets and leaves for Doodhpatri which is also called Valley of milk. Visit the beautiful serene valley and witness the untouched beauty of Kashmir. Doodhpatri is mostly ignored by people and thus it is unspoilt and does not have restaurants or huge establishments.  

Proceed back to Srinagar from Doodhpatri , Overnight stay in Srinagar

Day 2: Gulmarg Day trip via Drung

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 KM to Gulmarg. Later, begin a short tour of Gulmarg. Gulmarg has been a resort for the kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently. Gulmarg boasts Asia's highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft). You can opt to take the Gondola cable car ride (the famous 08 minutes ropeway - optional & chargeable). Descend back to Drung is the beautiful destination 15 km from Gulmarg. The palace is covered with green forests and a stream where you can go for”Trout fishing” (subject to availability). Later proceed to Srinagar, overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 3: Srinagar to Pahalgam

After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which is famous for being the bread basket of Kashmir and Chinar trees. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 4: Pahalgam City (Bollywood Day)

After breakfast visit Chandanwadi (Starting point of Amarnath Yatra), Betaab Valley (originally named Ughanvaadi but renamed after Sunny deol's first moviie Betaab was shot here) & Aru valley (Recently many bollywood movies have been shot here like Jab tak hai Jaan, Haider, Bajrangi Bhaijan, Rockstar and many more). Overnight at Pahalgam hotel.

Day 5: Aharbal Waterfall and drop to Srinagar

After breakfast we check-out to visit Aharbal Waterfall. Aharbal is an unexplored gen of Kashmir, it is also known as Niagra falls of Kashmir. The waterfall is formed when Veshaw River or Nallah Veshaw falls noisily 25 meters and 7 meters through a narrow gorge of granite boulders. Overnight at Srinagar Hotel.

Day 6: Srinagar to Sonmarg

After breakfast we proceed to Sonmarg. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonmarg has few of the loveliest flower collection in Jammu and Kashmir. . After reaching check –in the at your hotel in sonmarg and now you are free to explore the surrounding area. You may take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year (Optional & chargeable). In evening back to your hotel in sonmarg for overnight stay.

Day 7: End of Trip

Post breakfast say goodbye to heaven on earth and proceed for your flight from Srinagar airport.
