Braving Spiti - WFT

Day 1 – Friday, 13th September (includes lunch and dinner)

Chandigarh – Narkanda (Narkanda altitude: 8,800 feet)

Reach Chandigarh by 11:30 a.m. (direct Shatabdi from Delhi or you can take a flight to

Chandigarh from your home city)

(Please discuss flight timings with us before booking.)

Drive to Narkanda (roughly 8 hours with one scheduled break).

Overnight at Tethys or similar

Day 2 – Saturday, 14th September (includes packed breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Narkanda – Sangla (Sangla altitude: 9,000 feet)

• Start by 7:30 a.m. for Sangla. We will carry a packed breakfast with us.

• The drive will take roughly 8 hours with 2 scheduled breaks.

• Lunch en route.

Overnight at Kinner Camps

Day 3 – Sunday, 15th September (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Sangla – Nako (Nako altitude: 12,000 feet)

• Start journey around 8.30 a.m. and drive from Kalpa to Nako.

• The drive will take 7 to 8 hours.

• Stop for lunch en route and reach Nako by evening.

• Walk around Nako village. Visit the 700-year-old monastery and the lake

Overnight at Kinner Camps

Day 4 – Monday, 16th September (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Nako – Tabo (Tabo altitude: 11,000 feet)

• Drive from Nako to Tabo. The drive will take around 5 hours.

• Visit the Gyu Mummy.

• En route stop for lunch.

• Reach Tabo and visit the 1,028-year-old Tabo Monastery, meditation caves, and rock

paintings.

Overnight at Maitreya Residency or similar

Day 5 – Tuesday, 17th September (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Tabo – Dhankar – Lalung – Pin Valley – Langza (Langza altitude: 14,000 feet)

• Drive from Tabo to Langza. The drive will take 6 to 7 hours with scheduled breaks.

• En route have a guided visit to the 1,200-year-old Dhankar Fort.

• Drive to Lalung Monastery.

• Stop for lunch.

• Reach Langza by evening.

Overnight at a homestay in Langza (or Kibber)

This can be triple sharing/4 people to the living room, etc.

Day 6 – Wednesday, 18th September (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Langza – Komic – Hikkim – Ki – Kaza (Kaza altitude: 11,980 feet)

• Do a gentle trek around Langza (optional).

• Drive from Langza to Kaza.

• Post breakfast at Langza (or Kibber), head to Komic, the highest village in the world.

• From here we visit the world’s highest post office at Hikkim.

• Lunch at a homestay and then visit Ki Monastery.

Overnight at Hotel Deyzor

Day 7 – Thursday, 19th September (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Kaza

• Visit Ki monastery (if not covered the previous day).

• Free day at Kaza to relax or stroll around the market.

Overnight at Hotel Deyzor

Day 8 – Friday, 20th September (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Kaza – Chandertaal (Chandertaal altitude: 14,100 feet)

• Post lunch leave for Chandertaal.

• The drive will take around 6 hours with scheduled breaks.

• Spend the day around the lake.

Overnight at Parasol Camps or similar

Day 9 – Saturday, 21st September (includes breakfast and lunch)

Chandertaal – Manali

• Drive from Chandertaal to Manali. The drive will take around 7 hours.

• Lunch en route.

Overnight at Baikunth Resorts or similar

Day 10 – Sunday, 22nd September (includes breakfast and lunch)

Manali – Chandigarh

Drive to Chandigarh and take the evening Shatabdi to Delhi or flight back to your home city.

COST

• INR 49,900 per head on a twin-sharing basis

• Single supplement – INR 12,500

• Early bird discount – INR 2000 if booked before 5th of June 2019

NOTES

• We need minimum 7 confirmations to do this tour.

• Depending on the prevailing weather conditions closer to the travel date, there could be

some changes to the itinerary with respect to routes. However, these will be intimated in

advance, before the actual trip.

INCLUSIONS

• Accommodation on a twin-sharing basis

• Transportation as mentioned in the itinerary (4 passengers in 1 car)

• All meals, except for the last meal at Manali (as Manali has many options and people

may want to try different things)

• Tours as mentioned in the itinerary

• Services of a trip lead from Wonderful World throughout the trip

EXCLUSIONS

• GST at 5%

• Air/train fare to and from Chandigarh

• Travel insurance

• Dinner in Manali

• Snacks

• Any beverages, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, including bottled water at meals

• Entrance fee to any sites (though most are free)

• Tips for guides / Tips for driver

• Any personal expenses, such as laundry, phone calls, portage, etc.

• Any other item not mentioned in Inclusions above

• Any services not mentioned in Inclusions above

• Any cost arising out of unforeseen circumstances like ill-health, land blocks, bad

weather, etc.

• Please pay INR 5,000 as booking deposit to reserve your spot

• Balance payment due 10 of July 2019

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Upto 90 days before departure – full refund

• Between 90 days and 60 days – booking deposit is non-refundable

• Between 60 days and 50 days – 75% refund

• Between 50 days and 30 days – 25% refund

• Between 30 days and 15 days – 10% refund

• No refund thereafter for any cancellation or no-show
